Center for Network Innovation and Experimentation (CENETIX)
Vision –
CENETIX extends current GIGA Lab activities into continuing support of the Tactical Network Topology (TNT)
experiments through the operation of the TNT testbed facilities, TNT integration with the Global
Information Grid (GIG), and exploration of new frontiers in self-organizing sensor-unmanned
vehicle-decision maker networks jointly with Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL),
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, University of California Santa Barbara
(UCSB), and other academic partners together with a diverse group of corporate partners.
Mission – CENETIX support advanced studies of wireless networking with unmanned aerial, underwater, and ground vehicles in close cooperation with NPS SUV, CIRPAS, and Human Factor Research centers. CENETIX focuses on the advanced studies of emerging collaborative architectures for manned0-unmanned network-centric systems as well as adaptive management of sensor-unmanned vehicle-decision maker self-organizing environments.
Objective – CENETIX provides flexible deployable network integration and operating infrastructure for interdisciplinary studies of multiplatform tactical networks, Global Information Grid connectivity, collaborative technologies, situational awareness systems, multi-agent architectures, and management of sensor-unmanned vehicle-decision maker self-organizing environments.
